Silvia was our tour guide for the Vatican and she did a spectacular job describing everything to me and my family (husband + 2 kids) during our tour. We did a 3hr long tour and she showed us everything, plus extra! She was kind, smart, funny and knowledgeable; everything you would want when paying for a private tour. Would recommend 10 out of 10! This is the third time in the last 5 years we have taken a different grandson, all under 10, on a private tour of the Vatican. Our guide Marlene was superb and it takes a special guide to captivate a 9 year old. Her enthusiasm for all she was describing was a big part of that. We learned new things as well and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 hours with her.

Absolutely enjoyed the tour of the Vatican and Vatican museum. Our guide, Cesare, excitedly shared his knowledge of the artwork and information about the Vatican. Another guide, Antonio, made sure we were all set for the tour and met us at the museum to give us the tickets. Our guide, Frederica, was simply amazing! So kind, helpful, and informative. She was able to answer all our questions and take the tour at our own pace. A great way to tour the major locations in the Vatican.

I'm so glad I chose this tour! I had a day long layover in Rome, which I'd never been to, and I wanted to get the most out the few hours I had at my disposal. There were 6 other people in the tour with me, but it felt really personal and it was fun to interact with other tourists and share experiences and opinions. The guide was extremely prepared for any questions any of us had, and we got to see the most important spots and landmarks in Rome, all in a day's work. I'm so happy and in love with this city I'm definitely coming back for a longer stay and will absolutely book another tour with these guys! Bravissimi!

Peter from Exploro tours was just amazing. There was no way we could have covered Sorento, Positano and Amalfi in a day with the 3 hour or so car ride from Rome. We had initially booked a rental car and after doing some research about the Amalfi drive, decided to opt for this private tour. Probably the best decision! Peter with his Mercedes' made us feel special. He took us to the market place in Sorento where we shopped, had coffee and then our next stop was Positano, where we got couple hours to shop, eat and hit the beach! He always had good suggestions on where to eat, what to do etc. Then the last stop was Amalfi. Not to forget the various stops at vantage points to take pics. We enjoyed the view while sitting in a comfy AC car as it was also a hot day topping 90 deg F. Kids and I slept on the way to and on the way back once we were on the freeway. Was hassle free and enjoyable. We did not have to worry about driving in a foreign country, worry about parking, where to shop etc. highly recommend this trip with Exploro tours via TripAdvisor. Great trip and Peter was a gentleman and we had a great day and will always remember this amazing day trip!

We did the private tour to Pisa from Florence - it was delightful. We were picked up at the door of our apartment and whisked to Pisa in luxury vehicle. Our driver was excellent only to be surpassed by our guide. He was super knowledgeable and really made history of Pisa come alive. We also had a wonderful lunch before heading back to Florence. This was a great trip

Private Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and Basilica - Our tour guide Chiara Maria was the best. Her academic background was Art History so she has the knowledge, appreciation, and passion for the exhibits and the story behind the buildings, sculptures, and paintings. Her English was excellent and the way she explained each piece of art sort of takes you back in time to truly appreciate what the artist was like. She has excellent knowledge about Michelangelo and the way she narrated his work was fabulous! Chiara was very personable, down to earth and easy to talk to. 4 hours was obviously not enough to see everything but she made sure we saw all the important highlights and she made sure she answered all our questions. We would love to do another tour with her. Such as pleasant person!

First, I have to say that I have been to the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and Basilica years ago, but wanted to have a guide this time. I'm so glad I made that decision because Sonia, our guide, was absolutely AMAZING! If I could give her a million stars, I would. She was so knowledgeable about everything. She wove a thread through many of the important pieces that created an amazing story about Michelangelo's artwork and life. It made everything come alive, and I started noticing things that I had never seen before. On top of that, she knew how to navigate everything like a pro. I cannot thank her enough for the fabulous tour! If you are trying to decide if you should do the private tour or not, DO IT! It is worth every penny.

Incredible tour. From the moment Peter picked us up at the hotel to meeting our guide Linda. She liked to be called mama Linda. She was full of information and took a lot of time explaining everything to us. She was patient and incredibly kind!
