Itinerary

Immerse yourself in Italian history, culture, and gastronomy.
Land in Rome and admire one of the most romantic cities in the world. Head down to Naples and visit the unique ancient city of Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, and Capri. You’ll then head North and visit Tuscany, where you’ll have wine-tasting experiences. You will visit Florence to discover its hidden treasures and Renaissance heritage, via the quaint medieval towns of Siena and San Gimignano, as well as the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Next, you’ll head further North and explore Milan, the capital of fashion, and finally, you’ll uncover Venice, known for its stunning canals, built across 100 small islands.

Day 1 - Welcome to the Eternal City

• Meet and greet with English-speaking driver at Rome FCO airport and transfer to the hotel. • Check-in at the hotel and free time for leisure • Meet English-speaking tour guide and begin walking tour of city highlights: Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Venice square, Navona square • Unique experience: After the walking tour, you will be transferred to a restaurant for a pizza-making experience. Enjoy how to make pizza with the guidance of a professional Napoletan chef. Learn the technique to make pizza in the traditional Napoletan way and sit down to enjoy the results! You will prepare the dough with your own hands, season the pizza and bake it inside a wood-fired oven. An unforgettable culinary experience. Day 2 - Full Day Tour: Colosseum, Roman Forum and Vatican with Lunch

• 8:15 AM - Hotel pickup with professional English-speaking driver and deluxe minivan • Transfer to the Colosseum to meet your tour guide • Enter the Colosseum with your skip the line tickets and tour the iconic monument of Rome • Walk through the archaeological site of the Roman Forum and learn about the history of ancient Roman temples and mausoleums. All beautifully preserved! • Transfer to the Vatican city and walk past the huge entry line, directly to the security check point with your VIP tickets • Tour the most important galleries of the Vatican musems, enter and gasp at the beauty of the Sistine Chapel and admire the greatness of the largest church in the world: St. Peter's Basilica • Once the tour is finished, you will have some free time to shop in the official Vatican gift store and you will be accompanied, by one of our colleagues, to have lunch in a traditional Roman restaurant. Day 3 - Discover Naples and Surroundings

• 9 AM - Hotel check-out and transfer to Termini train station to take high-speed train to Naples. 2nd class seats • Transfer from Naples train station to hotel for check-in • Free time for lunch • Pickup from restaurant and transfer to Archaeological Museum of Naples for a 2 hour guided tour. Admire some of the most important ancient Roman statues owned by the powerful Farnese family • English-speaking driver, with private minivan, will pick you up from the museum and take you on a 2.5 hours panoramic tour of the city highlights • Drop-off at the hotel and free day on your own • Overnight in Naples

Day 4 - Trip to Pompeii and Sorrento

• 9 AM - Meet your tour guide and driver in the hotel lobby and transfer from hotel to Naples train station. • Take train to Pompeii - 2nd class seats. (40 minutes) • Skip the line for Pompeii archaeological site and enjoy a 2 hour guided tour • From Pompeii, take the train to Sorrento (1 hour) • Enjoy a walking tour of the city center and main attractions • Take train from Sorrento to Naples - 2nd class seats • Driver will pick you up from Naples train station and take you back to the hotel. • Overnight in Naples

Day 5 - Trip to Capri

• 9 AM - Meet your tour guide and driver in the hotel lobby and transfer to Napoli Beverello port. • Take fast hydrofoil to Capri (45 minutes) • Enjoy a full day in the lavish and charming island of Capri. Your tour guide will take you to visit the highlights and top attractions. • Take hydrofoil back to Naples • Transfer from Naples port to hotel • Overnight in Naples

Day 6 - Discover the Cradle of Renaissance

• 9 AM - Hotel pickup and transfer to Naples train station • Take high-speed train to Florence - 2nd class seats (2.5 hours) • Meet and greet at Florence train station and transfer to hotel for check-in • Free time for lunch • Pickup from restaurant and begin walking tour of city highlights: Piazza della Signoria, Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Basilica di Santa Croce • Free time for the rest of the day

Day 7 - Uffizi and Accademia Galleries + Leather factory visit

• 9 AM - Unique Experience: Hotel pickup and drive to the leather factory of Barbara Ricchi (world renowned designer of luxury leather accessories) tour the factory and watch as Florentine artisans create leather accessories, like belts and handbags, in front of you. • Transfer back to Florence and drop-off in San Lorenzo central market for lunch • After lunch, meeting point with tour guide at 2:00 pm in Via Dei Castellani 18 to begin Uffizi gallery and Accademia tour. • Skip the line for both museums and enjoy their greatest masterpieces with an English-speaking tour guide. • Rest of the day free on your own

Day 8 - Full Day Tour to Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa

• 8:15 AM - Hotel pickup and transfer to meeting point with the group. Begin full day Tuscany tour with an English-speaking tour guide and deluxe transportation. • First stop will be Siena: Enjoy a guided walking tour through the medieval city. Learn about the world's oldest bank, visit Piazza del Campo and admire the interior of the Duomo with its marble floors and spectacular abside. • Next, visit an organic family run wine estate in the Chianti wine region - the highlight of the day! Visit the farm, enjoy an informal wine tasting lesson and a traditional tuscan lunch with plenty of wine. While eating, you will enjoy the view of the Tuscan countryside and its gorgeous colours. • After lunch, you will visit the enchanting hilltop town of San Gimignano where you will have free time on your own to explore the medieval buildings and ancient alleyways of this Italian gem. • Finally, a scenic drive through the Tuscan countryside will take you to the final stop and arguably most important: Pisa. Here, take a close inspection of the iconic leaning tower, visit the cathedral and the baptistery. • Return to Florence and drop-off at the original meeting point. • Overnight in Florence

Day 9 - Welcome to Milan

• Hotel check-out in Florence and transfer to S.M. di Novella train station to catch train for Milan • Upon arrival in Milan train station, meet and greet with English-speaking driver and transfer to centrally located hotel. • Check-in and free time to relax • Enjoy a panoramic driving tour of the city with a private minivan a English-speaking tour guide. Visit the Duomo of Milano, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Castello Sforzesco, Brera, La Scala theater and Navigli neighborhood. (3 hrs driving tour) • Hotel drop-off

Day 10 - The "Floating City"

• 9 AM - Hotel pickup and transfer to Milan train station to catch train for Venice (2.5 hours ride) • Meet English-speaking assistant in Venice train station that will escort you to the Venetian motorboat. • Private boat transfer to Venice hotel. • Check-in Venice hotel and free time to relax • Meet English-speaking tour guide and begin walking tour of Venice: St. Mark's square, St. Mark's basilica, Doge's palace, Rialto bridge, bridge of Sighs (3 hours tour) • Rest of the day free

Day 11 - Trip to Murano, Burano and Torcello

• Meet the group at the departure point of the boat • Begin the boat trip, in a small group of maximum 10 people, to the most famous islands in the Venetian lagoon! • Stop in Murano and enjoy a glass-blowing show with a local artisan that will demonstrate this unique technique • Stroll along the colored homes in Burano and watch a lace-making show • Visit the medieval churches in Torcello • Transportation back to meeting point once tour ends.

Day 12 - Trip to Verona

• Hotel pickup and transfer to Venice train station with private motorboat taxi to catch train for Verona • Meet and greet at Verona train station with English-speaking tour guide and begin walking tour • Stroll through Verona’s city center and visit its highlights, including: Arena di Verona, Duomo di Verona, Juliet’s world renowned balcony, piazza delle Erbe, funicular to Castel San Pietro and many more (5 hours tour) • Free time for lunch • Walk back to train station and catch train back to Venice • Transfer from Venice train station to hotel and rest of the day free.
